The Making of JAE
The Making of JAE: Building a Digital Presence for an Artist Who Inspires
There’s something profoundly special about working on a project that isn’t just technical but deeply personal—something that feels like a reflection of the talent, energy, and brilliance of the person it’s for. Recently, I had the privilege of crafting a professional digital presence for JAE, the music duo featuring Jordan and me. From designing a landing page to building an artist profile on my custom SaaS platform, Making Waves, every step of this project felt like bringing an idea to life that mirrored Jordan’s unique essence.
A Landing Page Inspired by Jordan’s Style
Creating the JAE landing page wasn’t just about building a website. It was about capturing a feeling—an energy that defines JAE and, more intimately, Jordan as an artist.
1. Aesthetic That Speaks to Her
Purple. It’s not just Jordan’s favorite color; it’s her vibe. Soft yet bold, calming yet vibrant. I created a custom purple gradient background to set the tone for the page, using Pixlr to give it depth and elegance. It’s not just a backdrop—it’s the mood, the heartbeat of the site.
The logo for JAE was another key piece. Designed in Canva, it’s modern, minimalistic, and timeless. I wanted it to feel as enduring as the music we’re creating together, something that could stand proudly alongside her artistry.
2. Words That Mean Something
Front and center, the headline reads: "Something beautiful is happening..." It’s not just a phrase. It’s a quiet nod to what’s unfolding—the music, the connection, the journey. And maybe, just maybe, she’ll catch that it’s also a reflection of how I see this whole experience.
The page is simple yet functional, with a Mailchimp email subscription form to connect with fans and social media links to foster engagement. Everything flows together seamlessly, a stage for the world to see what’s next for JAE.
Making Waves: Showcasing Jordan as the Star She Is
Jordan’s presence deserves to shine in every space she steps into, and her profile on Making Waves was designed to do just that. Making Waves is a platform I developed to connect artists with booking agencies and fans. Setting up her profile was an exercise in showcasing her talent while keeping things professional and approachable.

1. Crafting Her Digital Stage
From a polished bio to high-quality images, every detail was chosen to highlight who Jordan is as an artist. Sample music clips bring her sound to life for potential booking agents, and her social links invite fans to dive deeper into her world.
I took care to optimize her profile for visibility, ensuring that event organizers looking for someone with her unique vibe would find her easily. Because she deserves to be seen.
2. Seamless Integration
Jordan’s Making Waves profile connects directly to the JAE landing page and vice versa, creating a cohesive digital presence. The "Follow The Music" app—a Tinder-style discovery tool—lets fans swipe, follow, and fall in love with her artistry. It’s all part of building something that feels as dynamic and engaging as she is.
More Than Just a Website
Projects like this are why I love what I do. They’re not just about code or design; they’re about storytelling—taking someone’s essence and translating it into something the world can see.
Jordan isn’t just a musician. She’s a force. She’s someone whose talent, energy, and kindness ripple out and inspire everyone around her. And while this project was about creating tools to elevate her artistry, it was also my way of saying, "You’re incredible. The world should know."
Closing Thoughts
As we gear up for what’s next with JAE, I’m excited about what’s to come. Whether it’s the songs we’ll record, the performances we’ll share, or the moments we’ll create, one thing is certain: something beautiful is happening.
And to Jordan, if you’re reading this: Thank you for letting me be part of your journey. You inspire me in ways words can’t fully capture, but I hope this project shows a glimpse of how much I admire you—as an artist and as a person.
